FRIENDLIES

Hi,

I am the new Friendly Fixtures Secretary.

This year we have 19 matches planned and I invite you to sign up for any, or all, of the friendly matches once the notice has been placed on the board. Don’t be shy, anyone can give it a go!!

The matches are played over 18 ends with a break after 9 ends for tea/coffee and biscuits.

Graham Brock, Vice-Captain, and I will carry out the selection and place the selected names up for you to then confirm, (more information about that on the selector’s notice board). It is our intention to give everybody who signs up a chance to play at some point over the season.

Please note for the four matches in red below, we play at an away venue, where refreshments are usually provided for us. We therefore reciprocate and when those teams play at the Life Centre we will pay for their refreshments. For all the other matches it is our intention that players will pay for their own refreshments only. However, this may change where we play a team twice.

Please also note that we advise car sharing for the 4 matches being played in other venues.
