Worldham Parish Council
The Crib and Christmas Tree Festival is in aid of East Worldham Church Funds. We have finished repairing our tower but are now undertaking further restoration work inside the church, outside the church and in the churchyard.
Families and groups around the village are presenting nativities of all shapes and sizes and decorated Christmas Trees. Many will be lit so the church should look splendid with all the fairy lights.
There will be a stall selling Christmassy produce and gifts and refreshments will be available. Carol singing with mulled wine from 5 pm will end the day on Saturday 2 December. A traditional Christingle service will be held at 9.30 am on Sunday morning leading on to the final day of the festival.
Admission is by donation with children free of charge. Car Parking will be signed.
We hope you will come to support our festival and look forward to seeing you.
Any enquiries to Mary Trigwell-Jones (firstname.lastname@example.org).
MISSING WINE GLASSES
Until recently there was a box of wine glasses stored in the kitchen in East Worldham Village Hall for general use. These seem to have disappeared.
If you have inadvertently failed to return them (probably before March of this year) please could you contact Kate Denyer Tel 01420 541362 so that they can be returned to the Village Hall.
