IN PRIVATE OWNERSHIP

Aythorpe Roding Windmill is the biggest post mill surviving in Essex.  It has four patent sails (removed 2017), a fantail on the steps and two pairs of millstones. Recently renovated and sails firmly back in place, we hope that the Windmill will one day be open to the public again.
