Aythorpe Roding Parish Council Home

Serving the community in the heart of Essex

Aythorpe Roding is one of the historic Rodings (Roothings) of Essex, located just 9 miles (15 km) north-west of Chelmsford. This site provides information about the Parish Council, village services, meetings, events, and community resources.

Aythorpe Roding Parish Council is the first tier of local government in the parish. Its role is to represent the community, address local concerns, manage certain amenities, work with district and county authorities, and promote the well‑being of residents.

The Council ensures local voices are heard in planning, environment, community services, and often facilitates the upkeep of physical and social infrastructure.
