The first round of this competition was played at 2.00pm on Saturday 13 June starting followed by tea and biscuits.  A triples competition played with 3 bowls each over 18 ends. In the event of a tie at 18 ends an additional end to be played. Each team of three will have at least one male and one female player, selected on a random basis.

The Winners in 2026, by one shot after a closely fought match, were Gloria Edwards, Anthony Hick & Gary Towers and the Runners-up were Pauline Cooper, Ray Lyall & Martin Prime.
