The BIG News is the Emily Clayson Memorial cup, which was won this year by Julia Woodward, John Wade and Mike Dann. Well done to them. The runners up were Bill Beacon, Jan Weatherley and Roy Tamplin. Many thanks to all those who entered the competiton and to those who helped out on the day.

On Tuesday our men made their way to Birchington for a Forrest of Blean match. Boughton 80. Birchington 119.

Winning rinks: Dave Chapman, Dave Walter and John Agate won 20-14

Brian Whittaker, Jeff |Eason and Mike Best won 17-12
