Welcome to the Brize Norton Neighbourhood Plan Website

The Brize Norton Neighbourhood Plan was adopted by West Oxfordshire District Council in September 2025..

The Neighbourhood Plan forms part of the statutory development plan which covers all planning developments within Brize Norton. Although the responsibility of planning decisions remain with West Oxfordshire District Council, they are required by law to take into account the views expressed in the Neighbourhood Plan when arriving at their decision.

West Oxfordshire District Council is currently developing a new Local Plan to cover the period 2027-2043. The adoption of the Local Plan 2043 may alter the strategic planning context in the district. The Parish Council will consider the need for a full or partial review of the Neighbourhood Plan within six months of the adoption of the Local Plan 2043.
