Brize Norton Parish Council is the first tier of local government and represents the interests of the local community.

The Parish Council is responsible for:

  • Maintenance of play areas
  • Allotments
  • Public seating and noticeboards
  • Commenting on planning applications
  • Community projects and events
  • Grant awards to local organisations
  • Public open spaces (where applicable)

District Council Responsibilities

West Oxfordshire District Council is responsible for:

  • Planning applications and development control
  • Housing services
  • Waste and recycling collection
  • Council tax collection
  • Environmental health
  • Licensing
