Brize Norton Parish Council is the first tier of local government and represents the interests of the local community.
The Parish Council is responsible for:
- Maintenance of play areas
- Allotments
- Public seating and noticeboards
- Commenting on planning applications
- Community projects and events
- Grant awards to local organisations
- Public open spaces (where applicable)
District Council Responsibilities
West Oxfordshire District Council is responsible for:
- Planning applications and development control
- Housing services
- Waste and recycling collection
- Council tax collection
- Environmental health
- Licensing
