Speeding

Speeding

Several residents have raised concerns to the Parish Council about the increasing amount of cars speeding through the village late at night, into the early mornings, these cars are excessively noisy and travel at speed far in excess of the speed limits. People have concerns that there could be a serious accident.

The Parish Council have been in touch with the Rural Policing Team and Northamptonshire Police Safer Roads Team, they have said they will provide extra patrols through the village when time allows, and that Road safety is one of their priorities they can help with speeding enforcement.

The Police ask for villagers to call the 101 number or report it online when they hear the cars racing, so can respond when the incident is happening.

Call 101 for non-emergency enquiries.
