Friday Evening 2016

Friday Night League:

New for the 2016 season is the club's Friday Night League. This is open to all club members and allows everyone to enjoy competitive bowling whatever their level of ability.

Teams are drawn just prior to the start of play, so no forward commitment is necessary and the format is 12 ends with rotation of playing position so everyone gains experience in the different roles.

The league is proving to be a very enjoyable format with members gaining points for team wins and for their own skill in being nearest the jack.   At the end of the 2016 Mike Morton won with Nina Ward as runner up.   Nearest to the jack was Mike Morton  with Paul Flarry runner up.

Things are kept informal, other than the need for flat soled shoes, with help and encouragement readily available from the more experienced players.

All members and prospective members are welcome
