Dalwood Community Shop & Post Office
The village shop opened in 2001 and is entirely owned and run by volunteers. The building was created by rebuilding and extending existing garages owned by East Devon District Council. The renovation work was again undertaken by volunteers and with the help of grants. The shop has recently been repainted with new shelves installed.
There is a very wide range of goods for sale - from apple juice to washing-up liquids - plus an off-licence selling wines and spirits, including wines from the award-winning Dalwood Vineyard. A good selection of water, soft drinks and sweets is also available. Bread, cakes, milk, eggs, meat and honey are all sourced locally.
The Dalwood Community Shop & Coffee shop has a range of Dalwood souvenirs, plus a wide range of everyday essentials together with well-priced wines, spirits, beers and ciders. The Dalwood Coffee Shop is also a great space to socialise! Pop in for a cuppa and delicious cakes from Joshua's.
