Thank you to all those who supported the preloved book sale that was held in the Village Hall on Saturday 20th August, either by donating your unwanted books or by coming along and supporting us on the day. We raised a massive £250, which is an amazing amount when each book was sold for just 50p. That is a lot of books finding new homes! It was a great Droxford community event, and was lovely to see so many people at the sale, and enjoying the wonderful coffee and cake available from Wilfrid's Cafe.

We will be running another book sale in the New Year, so please do bear us in mind if you have any unwanted books or jigsaws at home. We are always happy to collect locally too. Just drop us a line - Ailsa Duckworth (07769681555) or Louise Withers (01489 877595).

Our thanks again for your generosity, donations and support for the Village Hall.
