DYMCHURCH BEACH WEBCAM,TIDE TIMES AND WATER QUALITY
Dymchurch is well known for its flat sandy beach which stretches for over three miles providing safe sea bathing and plenty of room to build sand castles, play beach sports or just enjoy the sun shine. The sea defence can become slippery, users are reminded that they should use the designated steps with handrails to access the beach.
Dogs are banned from the main beach area from 1st May to 30th September. Signs on the sea wall indicate the area covered by the Summer exclusion zone. Please clean up after your dog and use the dog-waste bins provided..
Personal Water Craft, (Jet Skis) are not permitted to be launched from the central slipway in Dymchurch. Personal Water Craft users will be aware that the public launch area at High Knock has been blocked off by the Environment Agency due to antisocial behaviour, vehicles being driven around the beach and also blocking of the seawall. The Parish Council are working with the District Council, the environment agency and other partners to find a solution.
