The village has 3 main car parks, the Central & Village Hall car parks are both on Orgarswick Avenue in the centre of the village & the Martello car park is on the sea front as you go out of the village towards New Romney. There are 4 dedicated disabled parking spaces on Seawall Road with ramp access to the seawall footpath. Electric car charging points are available in the Village Hall & central car parks. When the tide is out Dymchurch has a wide sandy beach. The Village complete with amusement arcade and fun fair is known as Children's Paradise.
In 2022 and 2023 Dymchurch Beach was given a Seaside Award & Water Quality was rated as GOOD

Look out for FREE children's entertainment on the seawall during the school summer holidays in August.
Bi-annually, over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the village celebrate the Day of Syn (1) Day of Syn | Facebook and characters from the novels by Russell Thorndike.
There is no lifeguard service covering Dymchurch beach.
In an emergency on the coast, where life is at risk, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

The village has 2 sets of public toilets - Central Car Park and Seawall (just beyond the City of London pub)
Dog Free Beaches - from 1st May to 30th September - between Sycamore Gardens and Martello car park, for further detail please check: Dog-free beach measures to come into effect as usual - Folkestone & Hythe District Council (folkestone-hythe.gov.uk)
