Allotments

Following a number of informal enquiries regarding the provision of allotments in Godshill, the Parish Council is now working on the provision of allotments in the village. Part of the long-term strategy for the village is to encourage more growing of vegetables and fruit, especially through the provision of allotments, a communal allotment and a food forest.

The Parish Council does have land available that will enable all of the above to happen. It is on the west side of the village quite close to Lily Cross.

More than a dozen people and small groups have expressed an interest in taking part in some way. We have novices, others who want to work in small groups, a few with comprehensive allotment and gardening experience and others interested in a bit of their own and joining in with others on some communal activity.
