Over the past few years a number of Godshill related groups have grown up on Facebook and WhatsApp. Keeping track of them has grown harder! So, to make life simpler, we have set up a Godshill Community on WhatsApp.
A WhatsApp Community is an organizational feature that links multiple individual group chats together under one umbrella - the Godshill Community. It includes a central announcement group for admins to broadcast messages to everyone, while letting members chat separately in their own smaller, topic-focused subgroups.
It gives you one place to go, accessed via the community button once you are in WhatsApp.
It is a closed community just for those who live in Godshill or partake of an activity in Godshill.
Members can choose to join and leave any of the sub-groups within the community. Members can request new groups and any member can administer their own group.
This Godshill Community is NEW. We are slowly building and slowly learning.

Sustainable Godshill
Neighbours coming together to look after the place we all share. Everyone has something to contribute—whether that’s a love of wildlife, practical ideas for reducing waste, tips for saving energy, growing, time to volunteer, or simply a willingness to get involved. By learning from one another and taking small, shared actions, we can strengthen local connections, help our green spaces flourish, support households across Godshill, and create a healthier, more resilient future for everyone. This is the group for the green fingered amongst us. Help us develop our new allotments, grow food and encourage beautiful spaces for the nature around us.

Groups and clubs can have their own WhatsApp groups within this Godshill Community, which they run themselves, if they wish. Individuals can also ask for their own special interest group. We can have up to 50 groups within the Godshill Community. It is early days, join in and take a look. Use the form below.
