Lenham Traffic Data

Lenham Parish Council operates a Speed Indicating Device which is moved around three locations in Lenham Village and two locations in Platts Heath. It spends six weeks at each location.

The device records the date, time and speed of every vehicle approaching the Village / Hamlet within the 30 mph limit. While the device does not record the details of vehicles exceeding the speed limit, the data it generates can be passed onto the local Speed-watch group which may undertake further speed monitoring and which can report speeding drivers to the Police for action.
