'Swindon & District Women's Bowls Association was established by Swindon Bowls Club, Shrivenham Road Swindon on 7th October 1971. It was formed with the intention of promoting the amateur level of bowls for ladies by encouraging them to play in competition and leagues within the district of Swindon and representative games with other District Associations.

The Association is managed by an Executive Committee comprising of a President, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice President, Immediate Past President, Honorary Secretary. Honorary Treasurer and an Assistant Honorary Secretary.

The Committee is formed by the above Executive Committee and two delegates from each affiliated club. 

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is gained  by an affiliation fee payable  to the Association by each club for all their playing ladies 

AGM

An AGM is held yearly in January where any propositions or alterations to rules are voted on by affiliated members.
