Open Day at the Hall – December 13th 2025 09.00 – 13.00

The work on replacing the old porch is very nearly finished and we are celebrating with an official ribbon cutting by Councillor Andy Skeats at 9 am followed by our “Open Day”

You are most welcome to join us in the Main Hall:

• Meet some of the Regular Groups who can tell you about the activities they organise at the Hall
• Meet the Trustees – are you interested in helping us?
• If you have not been to the hall before, have a look around
• Tea or Coffee provided.

 

Christmas / New Year Closure

The Hall will be closed from 22/12/2025 to 3/1/2026 except for the bookings already arranged.

 

The West Moors Memorial Hall changed its Charitable status on 1st November 2025 

The West Moors Memorial Hall was owned and managed by a Charitable Trust established in 1929.  As you might imagine such an old charity structure gave us considerable difficulty in operating in the modern world.  After 2 ½ years work we converted to a modern Charitable Incorporated Organisation on 1st November 2025. 

You should not notice any changes from this other than a new charity number and new bank account details.  The majority of the Trustees continue to run the hall and the same policies and procedures are in place.
