East Dorset Craft Club

We are a small craft group meeting once a month to work together and share ideas.  Any craft welcome but at the moment we are mainly scrapbookers and card-makers.  We also occasionally arrange demos by members of other craft clubs, and visits from mobile craft shops.

We aim to attract any crafters who want an informal day to concentrate on their hobby with a like-minded and light-hearted group of individuals – and we provide tea/coffee and biscuits and cake!

We meet one Saturday each month in the main hall from 9am to 5pm, and the cost for the day is £10 per person.

In January we meet up with two craft groups from Somerset for a weekend of crafting and fun at the Manor House Hotel and crafting centre just outside Taunton

West Moors Townswomen's Guild

Once a month, on the third Thursday 2pm-4pm

West Moors branch of Townswomen’s Guild only opened in February 2018 but we now have a very successful group with over 40 members.

We would be delighted if you would like to come and see what we are about. We aim to have fun, socialise and educate ourselves too. There are talks of a wide variety, quizzes, baking competitions, parties etc.  Our Guild also has a monthly lunch club and a coffee morning in the village.

We are part of Dorset Federation of TG and there are other activities such as a general knowledge quiz in September, which 100 ladies have signed up for. The last annual lunch at the Remedy Oak was a great success.

Please feel free to contact us or come along to a meeting for a taster.
