Many people will have been affected by the temporary traffic lights at Cutbury Hollow, situated down the hill from the Leaton memorial heading towards Fitz . Work started on the sink hole under the road in early January.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE WORKS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 15/02/2022

Please find enclosed details of a temporary road closure:

Road Closure: Forton Farm Junction To B5067 Junction Leaton

Start Date: 5th January 2022

End Date: 15th February 2022

Purpose: Bridge works - armcoe to be reset. Install oil and silt booms downstream of culvert, Remove carriageway and soil backfill material to 9.5m length of Armco pipe,Create headwall to upstream end of Armco pipe adjacent to the existing masonry culvet Place concrete surround to Armcco pipe, place concrete bags to upstream left training wall to prevent undercutting, remove oil and silt booms
