We Need Another Parish Councillor - Are you Willing to Help?
Bomere Heath & District Parish Council
Bomere Heath Parish Council are in need of 2 new parish councillors. The Parish Council is going through a very exciting time at the moment as money is coming in from development and we are making a list of strategic projects we would like to see happen in the next couple of years. Can you or anyone you know help with this?
Please look at the map on our website - as BHPC covers a large area and we have no one on the council at the moment who lives in Albrighton, Grafton, Mytton, Walford Heath, Old Woods, Leaton or Dunns Heath. Being a councillor means you should try and come to a meeting a month in the parish hall where you have your say with the other councillors on how the parish council spends its money, discuss and vote on up and coming planning applications, deal with local issues from repairs and maintainance to community spaces/roads to the ever problematic dog fouling.
Your job would be to use your skills/experience to help to shape the lives for everyone in our community for the better. If you are interested and would like to find out more - why not come along and sit in on our next meeting which is on Wednesday 13th June in Bomere Heath Village Hall at 7.30pm.
