The Playing Field

The Playing Field

The Playing field is located just outside the village on the road down to Clattercote & Cropredy.

This public area currently comprises of a few picnic tables & benches, children’s playground & village allotments. Dog walkers and villagers alike meet and enjoy the green space with its beautiful views and trees. In 2023 a village survey highlighted that there is a desire to plant more trees in the Playing Field. A tulip tree was planted to commemorate the Queens Diamond Jubilee in 2021. And in the autumn 2024 eight more trees are planned for planting, including a Purple Beech to commemorate the Kings Coronation.

On occasion the field is also used to host village events.
