Results of the Group 1 and SMTL Finals

Roly Ellen and Martin Forde won against Happy Valley in the Pairs Comp.

Martine Hogg, Ian Harris, Martin Forde (subbing Ed Mercer) and Dave Comerford won against Thorpe in the Fours Comp.

Martine Hogg, Alfie Comerford, Roly Ellen, Steve Carnihan, Gary Higgleton, Shaun Lancaster, Pete Longhurst and Ian Reeves won the Unbadged Double Fours against Kirby.

An honourable mention to Dean Richie, Howard Manners and Ben Johnson who all played in previous rounds.

Commiserations to Martin Hogg who was a runner up in the Two Wood Singles and our Frank Greenaway Team who finished runners up to Happy Valley.

SMTL Finals took place at Bocking. We were represented in three finals.

We lost by two shots in a very tight game against Bocking. Playing were Ann Wright, John Newland, Sue McKay, Ian Reeves, Louise Brooks, Tracey Johnson, Martin Hogg and Andrew Johnson.

Andrew Johnson lost 19-21 to Grahame Walkingshaw from Woods BC in the Singles Final.

We lost to Woods in the Fours Comp, our team consisted of Steve Warner, Tracey Johnson, Colleen Moss and Andrew Johnson with a score of 16-21.
