Welcome to Doddington Parish Council’s website. The neighbouring rural English villages of Doddington and Newnham are located within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the ‘Garden of England’ county of Kent, in the south east of England. Both have thriving communities and are quintessential rural English villages with much to offer those who wish to explore the beautiful Kent countryside and savour the rural way of life.
The monthly Doddington Parish Council meeting takes place the second Monday of each month, except August, at 7.30pm in Doddington Village Hall and is open to the public. Agendas for the meeting are posted on the village notice board outside the hall and also on this website. Each meeting includes a public participation section where residents can, at the Chairman’s discretion, address the Council for up to three minutes on any topic of concern.
The Local Authorities (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority Meetings) Regulations 2020 now gives Local Councils the power to meet remotely during this current crisis and Doddington Parish Council will be holding meetings via Zoom. Please contact the Clerk for login details of the meeting.
