PLEASE NOTE: The content on this webpage was accurate when published at 18:43 on 26.10.20. The location of MTUs is subject to change in response to local outbreaks. We will endeavour to update this information as soon as possible in line with any changes.

Mobile testing units (MTUs) are located across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire at temporary locations to help increase access to coronavirus testing.
If you have symptoms of coronavirus including a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, you should get tested as soon as possible.

Providing there is local availability, you can book in for a test at a mobile testing site, a drive-in or walk through site or for a home testing kit by calling 119 or via the online government portal.

There is a fixed testing drive-through site located at County Hall car park on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Two new walk-through local testing sites have also been confirmed in Nottingham. The testing sites can be found at Forest Park and Ride in Nottingham City from Friday 23 October and Duke Street car park in Bulwell from Saturday 24 October.

You must book in for a test prior to attending a testing centre.

The test involves taking a swab of the nose and the back of the throat, which can be done by yourself or by a tester.

You will receive your test result via text or email within 72 hours. If your test is positive, you must self-isolate immediately. For more information on receiving your result, visit the NHS website.

Over the next week, sites can be found in the following areas:

Monday 26th October – Lenton

Monday 26th October – Broxtowe

Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th October – Hucknall

Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th October – Carlton

Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th October – Newark

Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October – Mansfield

Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October – Lenton

Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October – Rushcliffe

UPDATE: Due to a rise in COVID-19 cases across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, we are reviewing how and where we deploy mobile testing facilities. Therefore the locations for mobile testing units beyond Monday 2nd November are not yet confirmed. This is to ensure mobile testing units can be sent to specific areas in response to local outbreaks and where they are most needed. Please check this webpage regularly for further updates.

If you have symptoms of coronavirus including a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, please book in for a test by calling 119 or visiting the online government portal. You must stay at home if you have symptoms of coronavirus.
