Hire our Facilities
The Village Centre has three halls for hire. It is well used by a variety of groups offering a wide range of activities as well as for private functions.
The Upper Hall
This is the largest hall and has a stage and a kitchen suitable for the preparation and serving of light refreshments. It can be accessed from the main entrance via stairs and via a ramp at the rear of the building. Capacity is 120 seated and 150 for dances.
The Lower Hall
The Lower Hall is again large and has an attached kitchen which has full cooking facilities if needed. It is accessed from the Lower Hall front door on New Hill. Capacity is 60 seated and 80 for dances.
The Attic Hall
The Attic Hall is a smaller hall and is accessed via stairs from the main entrance. Capacity is 50 seated and 40 for dances There is an adjacent kitchen with cooker.

Football pitch and Pavilion
These are located at The Acres, Cotton Mill Lane.

HALL HIRE OF VILLAGE CENTRE (from January 2023)
*Alternative hire arrangements of the Village Centre for the festive period 23/24
Farnsfield Parish Council have recently (24.10.23) agreed to alternative hire arrangements to cover the festive period 22nd December 2023 to 1st January (inclusive) 2024. These arrangements have been agreed on a trial basis and will be reviewed in early 2024. Booking requests will be considered during the festive period subject to specific conditions please ask the booking clerk for these. As usual a refundable deposit may be required to cover the costs of any additional cleaning required, however there will be need for you to ensure a staff member/ Councillor is available to open up the centre and turn the heating on etc and to check the centre the following day.
Administration of booking requests
To book the Village Centre please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07483161711 or 01623 882884. In your booking request you should state which staff/councillors have made themselves available to support your event and which arrangements you will have in place for cleaning all of the areas hired after use (this includes the toilets). The rest of the usual hire terms will apply. Please submit requests for the festive period by 30th November 2023.

£5.80 per hour
Booking fee (applicable to new and one off bookings): £10.00
Full cooking facilities (not reheating): £25.00
