Finance

In England every public authority is obligated to publish their financial documentation for every financial year.

Transparency is one of the core values of Rodington Parish Council and as such we take great pride in publishing extended financial documentation of the Council that you may not see published by other public authorities elsewhere. Publication of this extended documentation is not mandatory but we want to reassure a high standard of transparency in our work by doing so. This includes lists of all payments made from the Parish Council, our full Accounts and Governance Accountability Return and details of our Insurance.

Below are the most recent documents for Rodington Parish Council, if you wish to see any further information or request copies of anything you may do so by making a Freedom of Information request, further details of this can be found through our Publication Scheme document on the Policies page.

Every year we set a new budget, have a read here about how that process in conducted at Rodington Parish Council

Grants

At Rodington Parish Council we have a proactive attitude towards working with the community and have for many years supported the Village Halls of Rodington and Longdon-upon-Tern with annual grants. As of the 1st April 2019 we are pleased to be able to offer a wider range of grants to the community of our Parish.

Village Hall Grant

We offer both Village Halls of the Parish the opportunity to apply for up to £500.00 to improve the usability of the facilities. We think this is very important for our Villages as it helps the halls thrive and offer the wider community so much more.

Community Grants

We are proud to offer grants towards community projects in the Parish. So, if you are a voluntary group or a charity then please contact us as we would love to hear about your project, this can be an event or project to improve the area. Each application can apply for up to £500.00 to go towards their project, however if more is required the Council can consider this but will have to do so in line with our budget planning and maintaining the ability to spread this grant as far across the community as possible.

Our grants application form and accompanying grants policy can be found here;
