Armed Forces Hub update - drop in sessions and Yoga classess

Message from Telford and Wrekin Council regarding Armed Forces Outreach Events & Activities taking place, across Telford, throughout the month of August 2026.

From the 5th August 2026, after a two-week break, we have recommenced the free Yoga Classes for our Armed Forces Community & Ex-Emergency Services personnel which take place each Wednesday at the Christopher Turley Armed Forces Hub. There is also an additional Models for Heroes session, which meets at the Newport Hub, on the 1st Tuesday evening and 3rd Saturday of the month and the St. Georges sessions have relocated to the newly refurbished Gower Building.

FREE YOGA CLASSES FOR ARMED FORCES COMMUNITY & EX-EMERGENCY SERVICES PERSONNEL

Have you Served in the Armed Forces or the Emergency Services or are you an immediate family member of someone who has Served? Now it’s time to focus on you with our FREE yoga classes in a safe space, for you to explore and move your body, creating a new relationship with yourself and easing the stress of everyday life.

No experience needed. Adapted for all abilities and injuries. Connect with others who understand your journey.
Starting each Wednesday for five weeks from the 17th June 2026 & continuing for a further six weeks from the 5th August 2026
3.30PM to 4.30PM. Chris Turley Armed Forces Hub, 22 Burton Street, Dawley, TF4 2ES.
