Carriageway improvements in your area – Roden Lane, Roden

  • We will shortly be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on Roden Lane, Roden
  • Works will be completed by Balfour Beatty and specialist sub-contractors Tarmac and Traffix.

The work is due to take place on 29/06/2026 and be completed by 03/07/2026 (weekdays only) weather permitting. The works will be carried out under a road closure, which will be in place between 08:00-17:00 on weekdays.

These works are being delivered as part of the Council’s investment programme to ‘Protect, Care and Invest to create a better borough’. Over the next four years, over £90m is being invested to keep neighbourhoods safe, clean and well connected. The ‘Pride in our Community’ Highways Capital Programme will deliver improvements to infrastructure including roads, footpaths, sustainable transport, road safety, street furniture, drains and structures. Our highways vision is to ‘Keep Telford Moving’ and in 2026/2027 we will invest over £17m to deliver a number of improvement schemes across the borough.

Balfour Beatty will be the lead delivering this work in partnership with the Council and our details are below, for any questions or queries relating to this scheme please contact us at our highways hub:
