Hearing Loss Support Hub Reopens in Telford

People living with hearing loss in Telford and Wrekin will once again be able to access practical hearing aid support close to home when the Hearing Loss Support Hub at the Independent Living Centre (ILC) reopens on Wednesday 12 August 2026.

The Hearing Loss Support Hub is delivered by Community Resource and takes place on the second Wednesday of every month from 10am to 12pm by appointment, offering practical support and advice to NHS hearing aid users across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

The service is delivered by volunteers trained by the NHS Audiology Service. Many are hearing aid users themselves and understand first-hand the challenges that can come with hearing loss.

Visitors can access support with:

  • NHS hearing aid tube changing

  • battery collection

  • advice on hearing aid care and maintenance

  • hearing loss support and guidance
