Len Cooper - Groundsman

Len has been looking after the grounds of Speldhurst Parish Council since 2010 and is a familiar face within the community.  Having lived in the area since 2007, he enjoys working close to home and takes great pride in helping to keep the parish looking its best for residents and visitors alike.

Originally trained as a carpenter through City & Guilds, Len brings a wide range of practical skills and experience to his role.  He is also first-aid trained and spend 25 years serving as a firefighter in London, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to helping and supporting others.

When he's out and about maintaining the parish grounds, Len enjoys meeting local residents and playing his part in caring for the community he calls home.
