On Monday, Borough Councillor Matthew Sankey spoke at our full council meeting about the Better Streets for St John's and St James' consultation.
He explained that the proposal to persuade traffic from residential roads onto main trunk roads in these areas would likely make St John’s Road busier. More people would then avoid it and drive through Speldhurst, Rusthall and Langton to get to Tunbridge Wells instead.
