Sam was born in Ipswich and has been Clerk and Responsible
Finance Officer (RFO) to Stonham Aspal Parish Council since December 2023. She has had a career in finance since leaving education.
The Parish Clerk is the Council’s administrative officer and the primary point of contact for parish business. They support the work of the Council by preparing agendas, recording minutes, managing correspondence, and ensuring that all decisions and activities comply with relevant legislation and best practice.
As the responsible financial officer, the Clerk oversees the Council’s finances, maintains accurate records, manages budgets, and ensures transparency through proper reporting and audit processes.
