24.04.24 Borough Friendly

 

Our second friendly of the season was played against our friends at the Borough, and once again we were blessed with good weather – bit cold at times, but nice and sunny. 

The green played very well and we all managed to get our bowls up to the jack.  As usual we enjoyed a nice tea and biscuits at half-time, and after the game enjoyed drinks and chat.  Much to our surprise and delight, even though the Borough had put out, in our view, a strong team, we managed to win.  The final result was Won 2, Lost 2, and we won by 12 shots.  So all in all, a good result.
