HELP NEEDED at the club!!

Hello Members,

The 2024 season kicks off next Saturday 13th April, with the Opening Of he Green, with our President, Stewart Maddocks, rolling up the first bowls of the new season.  Please come and support him and enjoy tea and cakes afterwards.

Due to the terrible weather we  have had, the Green is about a month behind where it should be.  A decision will be made on the day if we have a Spider and a small competition.

Availability sheets are in the Club for Over 60’s and Friendlies.  As you all know, this year will be difficult in fulfilling the fixtures, so please, please support the Club.

There are a number of outstanding jobs to  be done:

  1. Laying the grass mats in the ditches
  2. Getting the benches out
  3. Getting the Flag Pole down to fit new rope
  4. Weeding the paths
  5. Painting the boards edging the Green

I will be on site Monday morning 8th, Wednesday morning 10th and Thursday morning 11th April from 10.00am and would appreciate your help.
