Winter work making huge difference!

If you have not been up to the bowling club since the end of the season, then I suggest you make a visit to see the results of the hard work being done by Ian and Stewart. The green is looking lush and healthy and it seems Ian's 3/5 year plan is coming together well.

At the end of last years season a working party spent a day working extremely hard; cutting, raking, scarifying, re-seeding, feeding and general tidying up. Thank you to: Ian, Stewart, Neil, Mary, George, Mike, Cedric, Melvyn and myself. Also thank you to Sue for keeping everyone going with food and drinks.

Don't forget there are always things to be done and the Monday crew are always grateful for help; just turn up. Also on Saturday mornings  Ian and Stewart can usually be found busy and again would love to see anyone who is willing to help.
