On-going work this summer 2019

During this very hot and dry spell work on the green has been very challenging for Ian and Stewart; however, they have continued with their planned cycle of jobs and have achieved some promising results.

The club has received many compliments about how well the green is looking and more importantly, playing and this can only be attributed to the many hours both Ian and Stewart give to looking after our green; thank you.

There are many jobs which need to be done to keep the green playable (not all needing great physical strength) and volunteers would be welcomed with open arms! Ladies and gentlemen, if you have some spare time and would be willing to help, please speak to Ian or Stewart, you can give a much or as little time as you have; this is your green and without it we would not be able to keep playing the game we all love.
