Clatford Gardening Club

Clatford Valley Gardening Club.

We will be meeting in the Village Hall on Wednesday 26th August when the speaker will be David Tite talking on Carnivorous Plants. This will be the first meeting in the hall since lockdown started.  Light switches etc will be cleaned before the beginning of the meeting and hand sanitiser is available in the foyer. Chairs will be well spaced and the room ventilated. Masks will be optional.

The programme for the rest of the year is:

            September 22nd          Roger Hirons   Building and planting a Rockery and Alpine Garden

            October 27th               AGM

            November                   We hope to have some form of Christmas Celebration.

The programme for 2022 will be available soon.

The Aims of the Clatford Valley Gardening Club are:-  

  • To promote and encourage an interest in gardening. 
  • To arrange talks and demonstrations by horticultural experts.
  • To arrange visits to places of interest to gardeners.
  • To promote and organise a Flower, Vegetable and Produce Show.

 We are affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.
