The Burdock Valley Players are is an enthusiastic and friendly amateur dramatics group local based at Upper Clatford Village Hall.

Twenty five years on from being set up by Jan Hallett, the group is still thriving bring theatrical entertainment to the village.  But groups like the Burdock Valley players rely on a steady stream of new blood to keep going and improving.  Having successfully put on Francis Dunbridge’s murder mystery thriller “House Guests” in June, played in the round to great acclaim and feedback, it has been encouraging to welcome a number of new faces into the group for this panto. 

Whether you are interested in acting, painting scenery, making costumes, serving in the bar or even arranging meetings and filing accounts, Burdock Valley Player membership could be for you. The group meets on a Tuesday evening throughout the year with extra rehearsals on Sundays prior to performances. We welcome people of all ages, skills and talents.

In addition to our drama we have a healthy social life and regularly arrange events such as BBQ's, Music Quizzes and trips to restaurants and the theatre.
