We are continuing to work to repair a burst sewer pipe just off Salisbury Road near Andover.

Tankers continue to carry out crucial work maintaining flows so that the burst pipe can be repaired. High ground water levels and the difficult location is making the repair more complex than first thought, but it is underway. We’re working as quickly as possible, in a safe and controlled manner, but unfortunately, there is a chance the works will continue into early next week.

We apologise to residents and road users in Furzedown Lane, Chalkpit Lane and Andover Road for any traffic and noise disruption caused; traffic management is also in place at the junction of Foundry Road (SP11 7NQ) to ensure tankers can operate safely.
