Abdon and Heath Light Parish Plan

At the end of 2014 and the start of 2015, at the request of Shropshire Council, Abdon and Heath Parish Councillors undertook to prepare and complete a Light Parish Plan. A questionnaire was prepared and circulated to all dwellings in the parish. 174 questionnaires were delivered and 71% were completed.

The information will help the Parish Council and local organisations in taking decisions in the future. The Light Parish Plan is a guide only for decision making and many of the suggestions could only come about with considerable input and effort by volunteers. Shropshire Council will incorporate our Light Parish Plan into their overall plans for the county.

The summary leaflet and analysis of the questionnaire are attached below. The summary leaflet has been delivered by hand to all the properties covered by the Parish Council.
