Could anyone sponsor a family from Ukraine under the Government’s Homes for Ukraine Scheme?
The family consists of a mum, a dad and a 13 year old daughter . The mum and two daughters were in Brize Norton for a year 2022/23 and the children went to Brize primary and Burford school, but they then went back to Ukraine to be with their dad. Now their older daughter is at University in The Netherlands and their dad is allowed to leave the country. Due to worsening conditions in Kyv where they live, they are keen to return temporarily to the UK, until the situation in Ukraine improves.
If anyone has two rooms to spare and could be a sponsor for this lovely family please contact the clerk of the Parish Council who will be able to put you in touch with the previous hosts for more details.
Under the Scheme hosts must commit to providing accommodation, rent free, for a minimum of 6 months. Full details of what is involved can be found on the Government website.
