Our Recreation Ground & Park Features

Our recreation ground covers [X acres] of dedicated open space, providing high-quality outdoor facilities for local sports teams, families, dog walkers, and community events. Managed by the Recreation Ground Trust, our goal is to maintain a clean, safe, and accessible green space for everyone to enjoy.

Sports & Recreation Facilities

•    Grass Sports Pitches: Maintained full-sized football pitch and cricket square available for local league fixtures, youth matches, and seasonal club hires.

•    Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA): An all-weather, fenced hard court equipped for tennis, netball, pickleball, and five-a-side football. Free for casual public use outside of private booking hours.

•    Bowls Green & Clubhouse: Dedicated bowling green maintained in partnership with the local Bowls Club.

Play & Fitness Areas

•    Children's Play Area: Play park featuring age-appropriate equipment for toddlers and juniors, including swings, climbing frames, zip wire and slides

Pavilion & On-Site Amenities

•    Community Pavilion: Main hall available for private party hires, community meetings, and indoor fitness classes. Includes seating, tables, and a small kitchenette.

•    Changing Rooms & Showers: Team changing facilities, referee changing space, and hot showers available for match-day pitch hires.

Visitor Information & Site Rules

•    Parking: On-site parking area, including dedicated accessible parking bays.

•    Accessibility: Level paved access from the main entrance to the pavilion, play area, and perimeter paths.

•    Dog Walking: Dogs are welcome on the main field but must be kept on leads near the sports pitches during matches. Dogs are strictly prohibited inside the fenced children's play area. Please pick up after your dog using the dedicated waste bins provided.

•    Opening Hours: Open daily from dawn until dusk.
