Saxilby Public Recreation Ground Charity was created in 1920 to manage the recreation ground. The objects of the charity are to ensure that the land be used and enjoyed as open public grounds for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Saxilby cum Ingleby and the adjoining Hamlet of Hardwick and for the rest and recreation of adults and as playgrounds for children and youth being respectively inhabitants of said Parish or Hamlet or one of them subject to the requirements of the Indenture of 1920.
