We recently walked along the network of footpaths connecting Speldhurst Road to Farnham Lane, and Farnham Lane to Dornden Drive. Our Groundsman, Len, does an excellent job of keeping these paths clear of leaves and moss, ensuring they remain safe for everyone to use.

During our walk, we noticed several unstable fences at risk of falling into the path. As shown in the photo, some are in such poor condition that they could soon fall and block the route. So, if you live in a property that backs onto these footpaths, we kindly ask that you do your bit too, by checking the condition of any fences that border the path.

Those fences reinforced with concrete posts seem to be the most stable. If you're looking to strengthen your fence, there are plenty of options available online if you search for 'concrete repair spur posts'.

Thank you for helping us keep these pathways open; allowing residents to walk safely through Langton Green.
