My Community Voice - a new crime prevention service
Speldhurst Parish Council
Local Crime Prevention Officer Miles Booth has asked us to share details of My Community Voice - a new messaging service from Kent Police designed to help prevent crime and keep you safe. Officers will post real-time messages about local matters that could affect you or your community, such as updates on scams, appeals, anti-social behaviour, events and more. Alerts come direct to you by email, text or voice message. Registering for alerts is completely free and once you have signed-up, you can choose how you want to receive messages and what you want them to be about.
Kent Police are keen to get lots of people signed up so they can reach the whole community.
Sign up to My Community Voice now
Quick, simple, and completely free, My Community Voice will allow you to have your say on local issues impacting you, either through direct engagement with officers following an alert or through surveys provided by your local officer. Unlike social media, My Community Voice is a secure and personal messaging system, updating you directly from the police officers themselves. You’ll be able to play an active part in police appeals as well as being kept up to date with what’s happening in your local area.
This service is not monitored 24/7 and is not for reporting crimes or incidents. You can report a crime online or via LiveChat at Kent Police. In an emergency, if a crime is in progress or life is in danger, call 999.
Sign up via the My Community Voice website and make your voice count.
