Wrockwardine Wood Arts College and The Sutherland School

We have been approached by many of our residents asking us for more information about the proposed relocation of the schools, as highlighted in recent press reports. We have contacted the Borough Council who advised that there are no detailed plans at the present time. The Borough Council are expecting an announcement from Central Government in June or July. There will then be a huge consultation exercise involving the parish council and residents. We will keep you informed of any developments.

Wrockwardine Wood C.E. Junior School

The school recently underwent the Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools (Section 48 Inspection). We wish to share the outcomes with you. The overall summary judgement is that school is distinctive as a Church school. It has an effective Christian ethos which permeates all aspects of school life and its overall effectiveness is satisfactory.
