Action Group letter response

25 September 2026

The Action Group, representing Doddington, Lynsted with Kingsdown, Newnham, Teynham and Tonge Parish Councils, has responded to the latest comments submitted by the other parties in the Highsted Park planning applications.

Our response focuses on the issues raised by the other parties, including the emerging Local Plan, infrastructure and viability, heritage impacts, affordable housing, Stones Farm, healthcare and utilities, and transport modelling.

We have also asked the Secretary of State to consider whether Highsted Park has been properly assessed alongside other major developments in Swale.
