It will be necessary to close Faversham Road, Newnham from 16th July 2026 for up to 5 days.

The road will be closed outside Martlesham, Newnham Valley.

The alternative route is via Faversham Road, The Street, Doddington Lane, Faversham Road, A20 Ashford Road, A20 Maidstone Road, A252 Charing Hill, A252 Canterbury Road, A251 Faversham Road, A251 Ashford Road, A2 Canterbury Road, A2 London Road, Faversham Road and visa versa.

This is to enable water mains repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
